At Crimsonwing, we’re very pleased to announce our latest update on the company performance for the first half of the financial year 2012/13. Across the group, we have had a record-breaking six months, with the highest first-half revenue on record. The overall profit within the period was exceptionally good at €512,252 (2011: a loss of (€16,997)), considering the continued backdrop of economic hardship.

As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Crimsonwing is expected to ensure that the company’s accreditations are kept up to date on an on-going basis. It is this time of the year for us, where the annual renewal is coming up and we are delighted to announce that we have successfully renewed our Microsoft Gold Competency for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)!
This means that we have been once again accredited by Microsoft to implement their Dynamics AX and Dynamics NAV products, as well as being acknowledged for the quality of our work.

On the 17th of September, the Danish printer Prinfo Aalborg took a big step forward with their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. Starting at 8.00am the server room was no longer home of their PrintVis and Microsoft Dynamics NAV installation; it was all lifted out to a hosted solution. Not only that. As the first company in Denmark, Prinfo Aalborg is now using a hosted Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013, a version so new it is actually not launched until October 2012. And one of the two first companies in the world, as a matter of fact.

Crimsonwing has just released the Consolidated Financial Statements for the period April 2011 to March 2012, which are available for download. The directors have pleasure in submitting their Crimsonwing plc report, together with the audited financial statements and auditor’s report of Crimsonwing plc for the year ended 31 March 2012.

Crimsonwing again achieved revenue growth in the period, recording its highest ever revenues at €15,150,158, that is 6% higher than last year (2011 - €14,303,568). That is reasonable organic growth given the tough market conditions. Full details are provided within the report. 

In the few months before the official release of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013, the new version of the end-to-end ERP platform, Microsoft is testing this thoroughly with the help of highly qualified partners. Those testing centres make sure the system works as it should in real life scenarios on their early release version. One of those testing centres is Crimsonwing’s Danish partner company, PrintVis, which is a comprehensive ERP solution designed for the printing industry, built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV. From management and financials, all the way to the production floor and printing press, PrintVis manages all aspects of printing companies, unifying disparate systems under one. In the UK, Crimsonwing is the exclusive reseller of the PrintVis solution.

On June 1st 2012, Danish printing company Jannerup A/S adopted PrintVis, a specialised ERP solution for printing companies based on the soon-to-be released Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 edition. The revolutionary thing about NAV 2013 is that it also runs on Azure, Microsoft’s Cloud platform, making the system accessible whenever, wherever. Thus, PrintVis is the world’s very first industry vertical to run on NAV 2013, as well as on Azure with Jannerup A/S as the first-mover in the market. This will be a great step for Microsoft and PrintVis.

On Tuesday, the 26th of June, the Crimsonwing team held their first Magento eCommerce Forum in Richmond, in partnership with Magento, the world’s fastest-growing eCommerce platform. Other presenters included Predictive Intent, a personalisation technology provider and famous payment solution provider PayPal.
