Quality

Crimsonwing is ISO 9001:2008 certified but our commitment to quality extends much further – we have an independent quality department led by Dr L Rodriguez and we see quality as the starting point not only for customer benefits but for ensuring repeat business.

All of the processes and methodology within IT development and IT services are governed by our Quality Management System, which has been independently audited on a regular basis.

You can expect a quality plan for each individual project including quality goals, the software development process, change and configuration management approaches, project phases and stages and quality activities that will be undertaken (walkthroughs, reviews, testing, verification, validation, configuration management). You’ll also know who is responsible for executing the quality plan and for maintaining and controlling your quality records.

We fully document the project terms of reference, your requirements, the system specifications, outline design specification, program specification and test specification. Everything possible is done to highlight issues from project day one and eliminate variances as early as possible. You’ll see all of the project metrics you need and post-project review documents will reveal what worked well and what didn’t, with best practice recommendations for the Quality Manager.

You are always welcome to work with us jointly if you prefer, to define your customised quality management systems based on ISO 9001 and the TickIT guidelines for software development. We will make every effort to align our quality procedures with yours.
